Military Droids
Battle
Droid
|
Price TBA per unit
or Bulk TBA(20 droids)
|

|
Designed
several years before the Clone Wars, the Battle Droid
makes up the main infantry force of the Trade Federation.
The droid's head was designed to imitate the shape of a
Neimoidian's skull to strike fear in their enemies, while
their bodies were modeled after the Geonosians. While
earlier models were colour coded to show their role or
rank, later models were coloured to blend in with their
surroundings with only a numerical marking on the back of
a comlink booster pack serving to distinguish one droid
from another.
Battle Droids were designed for cheap,
mass production and are relatively weak compared to other
military droids. Their main armament includes an E-5
Droid Blaster and a few thermal grenades. Initial
programming of the droids limited them to relatively
simple tactics during combat such as swarming their
enemies. However, during the Clone Wars, the tactical
programming was improved and made more efficient overall,
though the droids' reaction times during battle remain
quite slow.
At first Battle Droids were managed by
a central control mainframe, typically located in a
starship or a well defended facility. This created a
vulnerability, however, that led to severe failures after
a mainframe was destroyed, so newer designs gave the
droids autonomy in the case of such a catastrophic event.
Battle Droids have also been coded to take a role as
pilots in battle, which allows them to take control of
tanks and barges if their pilot leaves the vehicle.
However, they cannot operate any of the vessel's
weaponry, making them relatively useless in combat
operations.

Power Droids
GNK Power Droid
|
Price TBA
or Bulk TBA(10 droids)
|

|
The EG-6
Power Droid is designed like a square box with legs and
no face or other external manipulators. These power
droids are portable fusion generators, and their job is
to provide energy to mechanical devices in situations
where a permanent power grid is unavailable or is
inconvenient.

Astromech Droids
FA-4
Pilot
|
Price TBA
or Bulk TBA (10 droids)
|

|
Designed
a few decades before the fall of the Old Republic, the
FA-4 pilot is not a typical astromech droid, but rather
it is even able to pilot a ship autonomously; provided it
has a little guidance. While the FA-4 fails most combat
tests miserably, it is able to pilot any type of
starship, from the smallest fighter to the largest
capital ship, and follow the vessel's pre-programmed
flight path until its destination is reached. The FA-4
can perform the basic functions of ship piloting, but is
in no way as efficient as a seasoned pilot.

R3
Series Astromech
|
Price TBA
or Bulk TBA (10 droids)
|

|
The R3
design was the first astromech produced specifically for
one group, the Empire. It was the first astromech to be
released after the R2 series. In the gap between the
launches of the R2 and R3, droid manufacturers continued
updating and developing new technologies. They added
these into their popular R2 series, but the Empire wanted
a droid all to its own. The R3 was the answer, as it was
programmed with several naval tactics, adding to the
crews' ability to command. It also was a capable repair
droid servicing the massive Star Destroyers that the
Empire so relied upon. Unlike the R2, this little droid
comes armed with a scout blaster, allowing it to help
defend against enemy boarding operations and even useful
in the disciplining of officers.

Protocol Droids
RA-7
Protocol
|
Price TBA
or Bulk TBA(10 droids)
|

|
The RA-7
was originally designed as a labour-droid, but due to its
lack of compatibility with larger equipment, it soon
became known as a protocol droid. Designed to be humanoid
in appearance, the droid is made to be serventile and
comfortable dealing with many species. Built with
insectile plating for an enhanced appearance and secure
internal parts, the RA-7 series was considered
"tamper-proof," however many have found ways
around this to tweak their functions, registries and
personalities.
