Kathol Mining Corporation History
The Kathol Mining Corporation, otherwise known as "KMC", was formed on the 90th day of the 6th year by Samuel Vimes. It was lead by Mystiel Raleigh, affiliated with the Krath Republic, and served as their chief raw material supplier. Upon his retirement Vimes gave 51% of the stocks to Auron Tamerin, and 49% to Mystiel Raleigh. When Auron departed from the Kathol Republic he established The Tamerin Foundation, with the Kathol Republic forming the base of his power.

Some time after this Mystiel Raleigh, who was still a silent partner and owning a large (yet insignificant) proportion of the stocks, surrendered his share of the Kathol Mining Corporation's ownership to Fretz Raleigh, who continues to have a large stake in the company.

When The Tamerin Foundation joined the Anzatan Commonwealth, the Kathol Mining Corporation was nationalised, and to this day continues to serve the Commonwealth diligently, with it's base of operations spanning from the Churba sector, to Maldrood, and even the Douglas system in Centrality.
