The Treasurer is required to effectively maximise resource efficiency, and in the case of conflicts, decide which projects should be pursued and which should be shelved or scrapped. Competiting demands will be assessed by proposals put forward by their respective Ministry.

The Commonwealth owned mining companry Anzatan Resource Extractions falls under this department as their main priority is to supply the Commonwealth and her industries, rather than the public. It takes much more than just credits to keep a government running, and it is the duty of the Treasury to supply these Crown Corporations with the resources they need to effectively support the Commonwealth's advancement.
