An unfortunate accident occurred within the early hours of the 112th day of the 12th year. Landion Domic, a legend among free people throughout the rim worlds, collided with the sun of the Ordint system. Mr. Domic's distress signal and sensor reports from within the system confirm there was no foul play, and this was just a tragic malfunction of his personal freighter. There was only 6 minutes between his emergency distress signal and collision with the sun, which made any emergency rescue impossible.

Due to the nature of the incident, recovery of the ship is impossible, and so the exact source of malfunction is impossible to determine. As the ship was not under the commission of the Commonwealth, our engineers have no further data on the vessel.

Local experts and independent investigators has confirmed this is a freak accident, and travel through the Ordint system is not at risk. However, if other captains within Anzatan territory are worried about the spaceworthiness of their vessels, our specially trained officers are willing to give a free safety check to any starships passing through our hyperlanes.



Landion Domic had one of the most prominent political careers among the free governments of this galaxy, his impressive career included being Prime Minister of the Falleen Federation and Viceroy of the Tresario Star Kingdom. His friends were many, and this shocking news will sadden the billions touched by his saintly heart.

We mourn his untimely death. We are grateful for his, albeit short, contribution to the Commonwealth, and we extend our condolences to those affected by this terrible loss.

A minute silence will be observed across the Commonwealth at 12:00 Year 12 Day 126 CGT in honour and memory of Landion Domic, may he rest in peace.

Three days ago, I Lilleynth Sons, was granted a private interview with Minister Vekdar about the status of the Cestus project and he seemed quite pleased with the status of the planet including the final phase of it. “This project was my first major endeavor with the Ministry of Infrastructure and it went off with only a few minor hitches.” Minister Vekdar said when asked directly about the Cestus project.

With just over 17 billion sentients living on the planet within the home system of the commonwealth, it is a testament to the hard work and ingenuity of the Anzatan people, the other staggering fact is that the level of civilization on the planet is the highest within a day’s flight of the system. Along such a high level of civilization the local police forces of the commonwealth seem to have a good clamp on crime, with the worst reports being that of juvenile mischief and the occasional petty theft.

Along with his report on Cestus there seemed to be a lot of activity in the Minister’s office, it seemed engineering teams and even several teams from Kathol Mining. Whatever the project it would seem at least to this reporter that it is going to be a big job and that could only mean good things for Anzat and its citizens.

Following his great success rising through the ranks at Outback Industries, Coled Nemad has been chosen to lead Starypan/SunHui Spaceworks.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Raptor Cardel and Sion Plagueis no longer have the time required to manage such a large corporation, and so have decided to step aside for another to take up the responsibility. Both Mr. Cardel and Mr. Plagueis will retain their rank, and do their best to continue their good work within the company, but from now on leadership decisions will be Mr. Nemad's domain.

We have every confidence Mr. Nemad will rise to the challenge, and look forward to the continued development of the Anzatan fleet and production of further ships for public sale.

After a long hiatus, Cerberus Corporation has reopened it's doors. A statement was released by Advisor Zero Turner.




"Over the course of many months, Cerberus Corporation has faced set backs. They say technology makes things easier, but sometimes it just makes things far too complicated. However, under the leadership of Taarn Star, myself and the great members of Cerberus Corporation. We're proud to announce the latest production run to the members of the Anzatan Commonwealth.

We'll begin selling our first production run to our great citizens. On behalf of Cerberus Corporation, I'd like to give our citizens a limited time discount of droids, with myself paying the difference for the reduced costs. Prices will be listed on our "General Discussion" forum. I thank you all for your patience.





As for those whom are not citizens of the Commonwealth, I'm glad to announce that we will begin producing droids for public sale within the Centrepoint Market as soon as we can. We hope to provide you the best quality droids out there."

Notorious criminal and wife of Black Sun Regent Owen von Ismay, Caitiri (Ja`Brai) von Ismay was apprehended by the Anzatan Commonwealth and taken into custody earlier today. The current leader of Turner Securities Limited, a venture started between Owen von Ismay and then friend Michael Turner, has been on the run for several months after stealing millions of credits from the already struggling company, Cerberus Corporation. After her appointment as Chief Executive Officer, Caitiri von Ismay placed her former colleague Hoss Banne as second in command of the Corporation, having just recently left the New Republic on bad terms. The Chief Executive Officer's prime choice as her right hand promptly embezzled as much as he could from the struggling company, helping himself to droids, factories, and credits as well as valuable piles of raw materials. Shortly after citizens donated credits to their corporation, while other law abiding sentients of the galaxy returned stolen property, Caitiri herself made off with the rest of Cerberus' treasury before being removed from her duties. She also attempted and failed to kidnap Queen Keishi Miahr's only son and heir, Rasi Miahr. Since these acts she has embarked on a campaign of harassment and slander. These efforts have culminated in a futile attempt to incite turmoil within the Commonwealth as well as failed plots to assassinate the Queen.

In addition to these acts, Caitiri von Ismay actively supported Bunres Voflis as he pilfered significant assets from Starypan/SunHui Spaceworks, another Commonwealth owned company. In a message to the Queen, Caitiri bragged about her personal flag ship, given to her after being stolen by Voflis, a Kaloth Battle Cruiser provocatively named Ismay's Revenge. Caitiri von Ismay excused their actions, stating that the Anzatan Commonwealth owes substantial sums of money to House Ismay as repayment for a loan from Wilhelm von Ismay. However, neither side has any record of such a debt, and so it has been discounted as a poor attempt at forming a legitimate excuse for numerous substantial thefts and slanderous acts.


This arrest came about due to a recent schism in the infamous Black Sun crime syndicate. Vigo Magnus Plaga defected from the organisation, the first Vigo to ever turn against the "family", taking with him vast fortunes. Meanwhile his wife, Natsuki Haines-Plaga, kidnapped Caitiri von Ismay, trapping her on board a Namana-class light cruiser. Haines-Plaga, encountering complications in the execution of her plot, contacted Commonwealth intelligence assets and offered to turn over the wanted criminal. After emergency discussions among the Commonwealth's leadership the offer was accepted and military resources were dispatched from Anzat.  
The event itself happened earlier today and was carried out by the Commonwealth's Minister of Defence and Master Jedi Soki Ionian, escorted by Royal Marine Commandos. The fugitive was subdued through subtle use of the Force to ensure no harm came to her, or her unborn children. Despite the Queen's wishes to keep the arrest as quick and free of trauma as possible due to her concern for the babies, stun cuffs were later required to halt the uncontrollable flow of obscenities, death threats, and racial slurs spewing from the criminal's mouth. 
Minister Ionian provided a brief statement to select members of the media immediately following the operation. While video of the statement has not been released to the general public, citing security concerns, senior officials state the Minister was broadcasting from the bridge of the Namana cruiser and members of the elite Royal Marines were seen escorting a belligerent and visibly pregnant Ismay out of camera range in the background. "I am pleased to report the successful apprehension of wanted criminal Caitiri von Ismay. I would like to thank the Royal Anzatan Navy and Marines for their loyal and sharp response. The limited time and fluid nature of this operation proved their level of training and professionalism is among the finest in the Galaxy. I would also like to express my appreciation to Natsuki Haines-Plaga who, at great peril to her own safety, took it upon herself to bring Lady von Ismay to justice. Crimes committed against the Commonwealth will not be overlooked, and their perpetrators will be brought to justice. May the Force be with us all in these times of turmoil, especially the children in Caitiri's womb." Unconfirmed rumours indicate the Queen, a Master Force Healer, personally visited von Ismay after she was secured aboard an Anzatan Naval vessel to ensure the health of both her and her children.

After the unexpected change in leadership of Cerberus Corporation, the press called for clarification on the matter. The Anzatan Commonwealth duly obliged, and Administrator Azarin Isard released the following statement.



“Some have been wondering as to the nature of Zack Arsono’s replacement as leader. My good friend has been overworked and his limited free time is being taken up to deal with several personal issues, and I felt obliged to assist in his hour of need. I will be taking the role of Administrator, while Zack will be my Adjutant Administrator, until situations improve, upon which time I will be pleased to give him back the reins.

The press have as of yet to respond to this statement, but economists are predicting the market value of Cerberus Corporation’s droids such as the Battle Droid to greatly increase.

The recent outbreak of Influenza A (H1N1) virus (commonly referred to as “Bantha Flu”)
is an an epidemic of a new strain of a virus identified last year in the Mid-Core.





The source of this new outbreak is still unknown at this time. However, they appear to be more widely hit around the Mid-Core regions once again.


While the virus has yet to reach Anzat Space, the Ministry of the Interior and Chief Medical Officials have gathered at the Anzatan Royal Hospital near New Belmont to dispense the vaccine for the virus.



The Bantha Flu is normally transmitted interspecies, but as of late has mutated into a strain, which seems to be affecting several species all over the Galaxy. We did not want Anzat to be over run by the virus. The Ministry of the Interior has been working on this vaccine since the Flu was discovered last month, reverse engineering it into a vaccine to prevent the spread. We are proud to finally have enough of the vaccine to protect the Commonwealth.




All citizens are strongly encouraged to visit the nearest Medical Complex to be vaccinated. The Ministry is also dispatching several Sprinter-type Medical Ships to aide those in Anzat’s remote colonies, as well as those unable to travel.

Holoviewers across the Galaxy stutter before images finally phase into sharp and distinguishable forms. The transmitting data stream, as a simple text explains, is being filtered to compensate for interference from the Anzatan asteroid ring. Finally, the rotating insignia of the Commonwealth appears, transforming slowly into that of the Tion Hegemony, and then of Mandalore. The image fades in similar fashion as it appears, replaced by a humanoid spokeswoman of stereotypical appearance.



The woman's smile matches the soothing, if sterile, tone of her voice. After a few seconds reviewing the datapad in her hands, her eyes find the camera, and her statement begins. "The prolonged conflicts between the Anzatan Commonwealth and the Tion Hegemony, and between the Anzatan Commonwealth and the Mandalore, have ended this morning with the signing of a series of peace treaties on the planet of Vandelhelm.

"The origins of the troubles date back well into the past, although at various points over the course of the conflict, the regrettable scale of the violence varied from simple border skirmishes to larger capital encounters and ground assaults, resulting in casualties on all sides. Some political analysts once described the mindsets of the governments as 'entrenched', as they had gotten so used to the distrust and bad feeling, reinforced by trade embargoes and passage restrictions. With the death of the Commonwealth's former leader, new diplomatic veins were opened, which, after a month of diligent work by all the governments involved, culminated in today's treaties.

Prime Minister Zimbabwe Suluclac of the Federation of Free Alliances, who witnessed the treaties and provided a venue for their signing, had this to say at a press conference held earlier today."

"We at the eXiles and the Federation of Free Alliances are honored to have served as witness and a neutral party to this historic occasion. We have already begun diplomatic relations with the Anzatan Commonwealth and the Tion Hegemony. All parties of this treaty have been professional, polite, and I look forward to the exceptional things this will foster. War profits no SenBe, yet peace profits everyone, except perhaps a mercenary, but that is another story."




As the prepared recording finishes, the scene fades back to the spokeswoman. "At this point in time, the precise terms of the agreement have not been made public. What has been revealed is that the three governments have affirmed a clause of non-aggression and that their respective military forces have been ordered to cease-fire. Quiet rumblings from sentients galaxy-wide seem to all echo the same sentiments - could this announcement of peace after such a long-standing feud possibly signify the rumoured changes occurring within the Anzatan Commonwealth? Chancellor Vong Gin`aal, of Mandalore offered his opinion on the proceedings."

"The Mandalorian government is pleased with the outcome of these negotiations. We strongly believe the results of our one month long peace-negotiations are satisfying to all parties involved. The Anzatan people have never been the enemy of Mandalore, as we have repeatedly stated. Mandalore welcomes cooperation with competently led governments across the galaxy and we are looking forward to working with the Anzatan Commonwealth government on various projects that will bring our governments to new levels of mutual trust and understanding.

"Let this peace treaty also be a clear message to all Outer Rim nations, struggling to overthrow incompetent leaders or pirate governments. Mandalore will aid you in your efforts to remove traitors, bring justice, honor and loyalty to your sectors whenever necessary."

"Once again the spokeswoman's warm visage returns to the screen. "Statements made by Mandalore and the Commonwealth were echoed by Hyperion Typhon Corbin of the Tion Hegemony."

The image of the leader appears above the spokeswoman's shoulder as his voice overtakes the scene. "For the last month, the Tion Hegemony and Mandalore have worked together with the Anzatan Commonwealth to create peace between our nations, and finally put an end to this long-standing war. With the former government of von Ismay overthrown, we have been able to reach an agreement that will allow our respective governments to move ahead to a more prosperous future.


"The Hegemony would like to thank both Mandalore and the Anzatan Commonwealth for their patience, cooperation, understanding, and willingness to put our bad blood behind us. Through cooperation and growing mutual trust, we have made tremendous headway in repairing our relations. Though the past may have seen us as enemies, today starts a new era of peace and growth for our people."


As the statement ends, the image disappears into the ether, and the woman turns her attention back to the transmitter. "Finally, Chancellor Xanthe of the Commonwealth prepared a statement for this release, adding the Anzati's view of this cessation of hostilities."


"A month of negotiations has culminated in the signing of these historic treaties between the Commonwealth and the Tion Hegemony, and between the Commonwealth and Mandalore. The past has seen much bloodshed, and the sad loss of many loved ones on all sides of the conflict. We now look forward to a future of peace and prosperity having worked together to overcome our differences.

"We look forward to developing trust and mutual understanding between the Commonwealth, the Tion Hegemony and Mandalore. We look also to fostering new relations with other governments as well as renewing relationships with old friends.

Much has been speculated since the recent changes within our government, but we hope today's news gives a strong message: the Commonwealth is embarking on a new course, marked not by self-aggrandizement, but a sincere desire to increase the prosperity of our people, by opening up opportunities rather than closing the doors of diplomacy."


For the final time, the scene returns to the spokeswoman at her perch. "All three governments commend one another for the patience and dedication to peace shown throughout the negotiations. They feel that the treaties signed constitute a new era of Galactic politics, and will serve the betterment of all their peoples. Thank you, all of you, for your time."

The trio of insignias once again form the foreground of the scene, and then fade to black.
