The Abhean system is relatively desolate, as it is home to three cold and volcanic planets. Through technological advances, environmental shielding, and general hardiness of the settlers, outposts and even thriving colonies have been established. In addition to this the Abhean system is now a key mining and production centre for the Anzatan Commonwealth and helps their economy thrive.

Abhean is the least hospitable planet within the system with which it shares its name. The planet is predominantly glacial, with the exception of a large central continent of volcanoes and lava flows. The only way for civilisation to develop is by choosing a compromise between the frigid cold of the icy wastes, and the warmth provided by the volatile volcanoes within the central continent. A ring of cities has developed around this mass of volcanoes on the rock sheets formed by the cooled lava. These rock sheets are also host to an array of valuable materials extracted by the rugged colonists, and used to develop the local cities or even export to the rest of the Commonwealth.

Abhean II is a massive tundra wasteland, with large barren glacial regions. Despite this, there are massive cities spanning entire continents. Most settlements have spread around the northern hemisphere, the forests, and rocky outcrops, with little outside the borders of civilisation due to the harsh conditions.
Sinite is the home of the vastly intelligent Siniteen race.

Sinite has a very similar terrain to the other planets in the system, and poses many of the same difficulties for settlers. The illusive Siniteen people who inhabit the planet have been able to survive the tough conditions, but it has not made expansion easy, resulting in the Siniteen being relatively rare within the galaxy. Thankfully advances in environmental shielding have allowed settlements to expand beyond the few areas protected from the harsh ice storms which ravage the planet, and future expansion is sure to continue at an amazing rate.
