The Anzati race is rumoured to be among the original sentients in the Galaxy. They are able to live for millenia, surviving and developing off the life essence of other sentients they prey upon. This "soup", as they call it, is the Force itself. They absorb the Force from other life, and build their individual power from those reserves.
But among the Anzati not all share the belief that other beings are simply prey to be consumed. An awareness of the Force effected some in a very different way. It connected them to the lives of others; allowing them to share feelings, fears, and hopes. To these few Anzati there was a better use for their skills and longevity. They found themselves in a unique position. There was the ability to subtly influence the Galaxy. Through assassination, espionage, and manipulation of powerful sentients, this new order could shape not just individual worlds and governments, but the Galaxy at large. Preserving peace ensured a greater variety of soup, and the ability to mold the blossoming alliances of worlds to their most advantageous connotations.
However, the Anzati that founded this order did so in secret. In doing so they shunned the teachings and traditions of their civilization and would have faced an uncerimonious death. Leaving the noble estates they found refuge in the dunes and rock formations of the deep deserts. From these meeting places they planned, sometimes for plots that would take generations to complete. They would also train, experiencing and manipulating the Force in new ways to assist them in their tasks. But most importantly, from here they sent their members into the Galaxy, to infiltrate, influence, and manipulate.
Some, sent as false prophets and deities to primitive worlds, ensured the protection of future generations, guarding them in the formation of mythologies. Others served as diplomats, spies, generals, and advisors to the early rulers of nearly every world. The results of countless battles, elections, assassinations, and treaties were determined decades before the leaders involved had contemplated such actions.
This sect, long extinct, was resurrected by Her Majesty, having found their secret meeting places during her initial months residing on the home world. Combining the strategies and traditions of the Fey`da with the ideals of the Jedi and goals of the Shadows, those aligned with the Force and trusted to secrecy were initiated into the sect. Slowly their number began to swell, and after what was assumed to be centuries of absence, the Fey`da returned into the Galaxy.
Operating in utter secrecy, those initiates and journeymen use their skills to advance peace and protect the Force. Their loyalty is to the Force itself, serving neither government nor ruler. Trained in the arts of manipulation, telepathy, and presience they strive to manipulate both future and mind. With their honed skills of combat, both of lightsaber and other means, they take action to ensure those futures are realized. Standing together, masked and concealed, the Fey`da are never known. They are puppet masters and guides, remaining within the shadows even when they strike.
