The firm initial known as the Kathol Mining Corporation was formed from a coalition of freelance prospectors who were united under the Kathol Republic. During an internal crisis Auron Tamerin formed the Tamerin Foundation along with a few other Kathol Republic companies, while the remnants created the Krath Dynasty. As the Tamerin Foundation grew closer to the New Anzat Order, they merged to become the Anzatan Commonwealth. At this time Kathol Mining Corporation was nationalised by the Commonwealth.

Through talks with the Krath Dynasty, owner of 49% of Kathol Mining Corporation, and controller of the Kathol territories a deal was made for Kathol Mining Corporation to be renamed in return for the Commonwealth becoming the sole owner of the company. It was decided that the firm would be called "Anzatan Resource Extractions" and the name was changed immediately.

Initially under the domain of the Ministry of Commerce, during the leadership shake-up in the middle of Year 12 it was moved under the control of the newly formed Treasury.
